Beschreibung
Die Hauppauge Nova-s ist eine Budget-DVB-Karte für den Satellitenempfang. Es gibt sie als Nova-s - die günstigere Variante ohne Anschluss für ein Common Interface (CI) und als Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-CI-s mit einem solchen Anschluss und dem CI als extra PCI Karte (siehe Fotos). Ausserdem gibt es noch eine SE (Special Edition), die ohne Fernbedienung ausgeliefert wird und somit etwas günstiger ist als die Nova-s, und in wenigstens 2 Varianten gebaut wird. Mit Kernel 2.6.13 und aktuellem CVS DVB-Treiber wird nun auch die "low profile" Variante (Nova-S SE model 135) unterstützt.
