DVB-T USB-Boxen

Alle hier aufgeführten Boxen verfügen über keinen Hardware-MPEG2-Dekoder, daher wird mindestens eine 500-600 Mhz CPU benötigt! Auf Grund des fehlenden MPEG2-Dekoders, benötigt man unter Linux eine Software, die das MPEG2-Dekoden übernimmt. Zu erwähnen sind hier Xine, KaxTV und VDR-Xine (eine gepatchte Version von VDR - Den Patch findet man auf http://home.vrweb.de/~rnissl/ . Einfach vdr-xine-VERSION.tgz herunterladen, INSTALL lesen und befolgen). Grundsätzlich sollten neue Boxen, für die Linux-Treiber existieren, mit den erwähnten Programmen funktionieren.

5.6.05: Die DEC 2000 t/s ist nicht mit dem VDR verwendbar, da die FE Statusinfos (Lock, Signalstärke, etc) in dem Treiber statisch definiert sind. VDR kann deshalb leider nicht tunen. kaffeine, xine und mplayer funktionieren ebenfalls nicht, nur tzap aus dem dvb-apps.

Läuft. Der eingebaute IR-Empfänger taucht unter /dev/input auf und ist mit dem Remote-Plugin nutzbar. Die Tasten der mitgelieferten Fernbedienung sind für den VDR etwas knifflig zu belegen (z.B. keine Rot-/Grün-/Gelb-/Blau-Tasten). [20]
Dibcom-Chipsatz ab Kernel 2.6.10 (dvb-dibusb, dib3000mb/mc) DIB3000-MB? Der Dibcom-Chipsatz wird in einer Reihe von USB1.1- und USB2.0-Geräten verschiedener Hersteller und Marken eingesetzt. Ein Linux-Treiber wird von Patrick Boettcher entwickelt ([21]). Unter diesem Link findet sich eine vollständigere Geräteliste als die folgende.
Können die USB2.0 Geräte auch an USB1.1 betrieben werden? Bei der AvertV DVB-T USB 2.0 ist dies jedenfalls möglich. 		[22]
